c1844 Born at Tatham Rectory, Lancashire, the son of the Rev. John Marsden Wright and his wife Mary Lea Salisbury (Married 1829)

1861 Living at Teyn View, Highweek, Newton Abbott: John Wright (age 29 born Tatham Rectory, Lancs.), Engineer. With his wife Mary J. Wright (age 28 born Elcombe Hall, Wilts.) and their son Henry S. Wright (age 2 born Highweek). Also his brother William Wright (age 17 born Tatham Rectory, Lancs.). Also a visitor. Three servants.[1]

1871 Lodger at Fore Street, Lostwithiel: William Wright, (age 27 born Latham, Lancs.), Civil Engineer.[2]

1872 District Engineer, Cornwall Railway, Lostwithiel.

1872 Married at Lostwithiel to Ellen Minto Beaumont the fourth daughter of Colonel Beaumont, late of the Madras Army. William is of Lostwithiel and the youngest son of Rev. J. M. Wright of Latham Rectory, Lancashire.[3]

1880 March 29th. Died. Civil engineer of St. Winnow, Cornwall.
