1851 Living at 69 Myddelton Street, Clerkenwell: William Ullmer (age 31 born St. Andrews, Mddx.), Printing Press Maker employing 3 men. With his wife Susanna Ullmer (age 18 born St. Pancras) and his brother Edwin Ullmer (age 33 born Portsmouth), Printing Press Maker.[1]

1855 Patent. '1821. And to Edwin Ullmer and William Ullmer, both of Fetter-lane, in the city of London, Manufacturers, for the invention of "improvements in machines for cutting paper, card, and millboards, and" other like substances"'[2]

1860 Patent. '652. To William Ullmer, of Castle-street, Hoiborn, in the county of Middlesex, Manufacturer of Presses and Printing Materials, for the invention of "an improvement in printing machines."'[3]

1862 Patent. '3277. To Edwin Ullmer and William Ullmer both of Castle-street, in the city of London Printing Machine Manufacturers, for the invention of "improvements in cylinder printing machines."'[4]
