William Telford Gunson

William Telford Gunson (1839 - 1924), architect and surveyor.

1839 Born on November 18th, in Durham, the son of William Wilson Gunson.

Educated privately, and at the Durham School of Art. Articled to a London firm and later worked as an assistant in various London offices, and for ten years in the City Surveyor's Office, Manchester.

1873 Entered into partnership with R. L. Mestayer.

1884-1892 Served as a member of the Manchester City Council.

1891 Formed a new partnership with his son Ernest, known as W. Telford Gunson and Son.

1924 Died on August 9th, at Blackpool.
