WILLIAM DAVIES, born at Montgomery on the 6th January, 1837, died on the 7th May, 1915, at Caergwrle, North Wales.
He was associated throughout his career with his brother-in-law, the late Mr. B. Piercey, M. Inst. C.E., in all his undertakings, including various railways in Wales, the survey and construction of the Royal Sardinian Railways, waterworks at Rome, and finally, the Wrexham, Mold and Connah’s Quay Railway.
He was an Alderman and Chairman of the Flint County Council and a Justice of the Peace for that county.
He was elected a Member on the 6th May, 1884.
