Allen (age 31 born Manchester) and their four children; Lucy Allen (age 11 born Manchester), Embroiderer; John Allen (age 9 born Manchester); William Allen (age 5 born Manchester); and Mary Ann Allen (age six months and born Manchester).[1]
1898 October 7th. Probate. William Allen of 8 Union Street, Great Ancoats, Manchester, engineer and brass and iron-founder, who died 30th April 1898, to John Allen, William Allen and Marcus Allen, engineers.
