Whitworth (Motorcycles)

From Graces Guide

Whitworth was motorcycle sold under the trading name of Frank Whitworth, of Birmingham, in 1924.

This was a large retail dealer who offered a 147cc two-stroke Villiers lightweight, with Albion two-speed gearbox and belt drive. It was built elsewhere, probably at the Arab factory on Bellbarn Road, to be sold cheaply without a cut for the middleman. It went on sale for just £27.
