Westwood Wheel Co, of Birmingham
- 1891 Formed to acquire the patents granted to Mr Frederick Westwood and others concerning improvements to the rims of cycles, especially the Westwood Rim.
- Mr Westwood had recently taken out several patents himself.
- 1894 Company and patent rights acquired by the newly formed Cycle Components Manufacturing Co[1]. The company's plant would be transferred to the factory of Cycle Components.
- Westwood Manufacturing Co would seem to have been a successor company which was granted a licence to manufacture the Westwood Rim by the Cycle Components Manufacturing Co[2].
