1881 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore existing between us the undersigned, Arthur Hall Ward and George Marston Bowen, and by virtue whereof we have heretofore carried on business as Bicycle Manufacturers, at Cross-street, Smethwick, Staffordshire, under the style or firm of Ward and Bowen, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The said George Marston Bowen retires from the business, which will in future be carried out by the said Arthur Hall Ward alone...'[1]
