1912 W. and M. Duncan Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £30,000, to acquire as a going concern the businesses of manufacturing and wholesale and retail confectioners now carried on at Beaverhall Road, Leith Street, and High Street, all in Edinburgh.[1]
