1891 Living at 25 High Street, Hemel Hempstead: William Henry Cranstone (age 50 born Hemel Hempstead), Ironmonger and Employer. With his wife Martha, two sons and a daughter.[1].

1896 W. H. Cranstone was chairman of Pickering Block and Hoist Co

1913 December 13th. Died. 'Mr. William Henry Cranstone, Hemel Hempstead, for many years in business there an ironfounder. and former High Bailiff of the town'[2]
