We regret to have to announce the death on February 21st, at the age of fifty-five, of Mr. William Edward Maddams, manager of the Government and Railways Department of the General Electric Company, Ltd.

Mr. Maddams joined the company in 1899, and during his forty years' service he acquired a wealth of electrical experience and a wide circle of friends in the industry, by whom he will be greatly missed.
