United Tube (Holdings)

From Graces Guide

1936 Company formed jointly owned by Stewarts and Lloyds and Tube Investments. A subsidiary was Newport and South Wales Tube Co.

Mannesmannrohren Werke agreed to exchange their holding in British Mannesmann Tube Co for an equivalent holding in the company[1]

1961 Tube production ceased at Landore.

1980 The Landore site operated as a foundry until 1980.
