Trencherfield Mill, Wigan Pier Quarter, Pottery Road, Wigan, Lancashire, WN1 1BA.

The mill engine has been granted an Engineering Heritage Award by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. However, the staff reponsible for the operation and maintenance of the engine were made redundant in 2019 . The Wigan Council website makes the following statement:-
