1939 Death of his wife. 'Widow of Mr. Thomas Taylor, who founded the firm of Messrs. Thomas Taylor, textile and printing engineers of Gladstone street, in 1875, Mrs. Sarah Maria Taylor died in Hull on Monday. Mrs. Taylor was well-known in Leicester, but had lived in Hull for some years'[5] She was age 78 years.[6]
