'...the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us the undersigned, William Esplen, John Frederick Smith, and Thomas Paton, at Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, as Engineers, Boiler Makers, and Iron Boat Builders, under the style or firm of Thomas Paton and Company, has been this day dissolved, by mutual consent.
