With his wife Maria Holbrook (age 34 born Stroud) and their five children; Ellen Holbrook (age 11 born Pimlico); Charles Holbrook (age 9 born Norwood); Mary Holbrook (age 7 born Clapham); Thomas Holbrook (age 4 born Chelsea); and Mary Holbrook (age 2 born Stroud).[1]

1871 Living at 105 Manor Street, Chelsea: Thomas H. Holbrook (age 52 born Worcester), Out of Business. With his three children; C. Holbrook (age 19 born Norwood); Mary Holbrook (age 11 born Chelsea); and Amy Holbrook (age 7 born Chelsea). Three servants.[2]
