THOMAS DUNCANSON, born at Liverpool on the 15th January, 1852, died in that city on the 2nd April, 1913.
He served a pupilage under Thomas Duncan and Alexander Duncanson, successively Water Engineers to the Liverpool Corporation, and was appointed Engineer to the Fylde Water Board, and in 1881 he joined the staff of the Liverpool Water Works. Having been engaged on the construction of the Vyrnwy Dam under the late Dr. Deacon, he was appointed in 1891 Principal Assistant Water Engineer at Liverpool, under Joseph Parry, and occupied that position until his death.
Mr. Duncanson was elected Associate Member of The Institution on the 27th May, 1884, and was transferred to the class of Members on the 10th February, 1903.
