THOMAS CARLISLE died recently at Nelson, British Columbia, at the age of fifty-two. He was formerly manager of the Bessemer department of the Moss Bay Haematite Iron and Steel Works, at Workington.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1903.
