1851 Living at Morton Terrace, Gainsborough: Thomas A. Farmer (age 47 born Gainsbro), Iron Merchant employing 20 men. With his wife Elizabeth Farmer (age 43 born Lincoln) and their two children George Farmer (age 9 born Gainsbro) and Elizabeth Farmer (age 8 born Gainsbro). Three servants.[1]

1864 June 23rd. Died. Probate mentions his widow Sarah Emma Farmer.
