1939 Age: 49. Career: London Polytechnic; Westminster Technical Institute; Northern Polytechnic Institute; Articled pupil to Hertfordshire County Surveyor (1908);

1911-14 Engineering Assistant Herts. County Surveyor.

1914-15 Assistant Engineer P.W.D. East Africa Protectorate.

1915-18 Military service in East Africa.

Erective Engineer P.W.D. Kenya Colony from 1921 till retirement through ill-health in 1931.
