Swan United Electric Light Co

1882 Joseph Swan's first company (presumably Swan Electric Light Co) was superseded by a larger company.

1882 Supplied the incandescent electric lamps for the tunnel of the completing section of the Inner Circle railway in London so that the railway company could see whether sufficient illumination could be obtained in this way without lamps in the carriages.[1]

1882/3 Swan United applied for an order allowing it to supply the Victoria District in London from the Victoria Electric Light Station[2]

1883 Edison and Swan United Electric Light Co was set up to merge Edison Electric Light Co with the Swan United Electric Light Co.
