1938 The South Wales Aluminium Company Limited was registered as a private company, with a nominal capital of £500,000, to carry on the business of manufacturers of, and dealers in, aluminium and other metals and metallic combinations. Sir Rhys Williams was chairman of the new company, which was formed by Swiss interests in association with the British Aluminium Co and the Aluminium Company of Canada.[1]

1958 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
