1851 Living at 12 Gt. Chart Street, Shoreditch: Samuel Dixon (age 50 born Leeds), Printing Press Maker. With his wife Mary Dixon (age 47 born Mattishall, Norfolk) and their two children Henry S. Dixon (age 17 born Shoreditch) and Matilda M. Dixon (age 15 born Shoreditch).[1]

1881 Living at Ditchingham, Norfolk: Samuel Dixon (age 80 born Leeds), Retired Press Maker. With his wife Mary Dixon (age 77 born Mattishall, Norfolk) and their daughter Matilda Dixon (age 45 born Hoxton, Mddx.). One servant.[2]
