Robertson Electric Lamps Ltd, of 31 Copthall Avenue, London, EC.

of Brook Green Works, Hammersmith, London.

1893 Robertson Lamp Company established and incorporated in July by Hugo Hirst [1] and C. J. Robertson

By 1900 the works were producing 2 million lamps per year, of which half were "high voltage" lamps[2]

1908 Glass works were at Lemington[3]

1909 Death of Charles Robertson

1914 Speciality: the "Robertson" electric lamps. Employees 650. Hugo Hirst was Chairman; James Fraser was Director; C. Wilson was manager[4]

1915 Osram Lamp Works, Robertson Lamp Works and Lemington Glass Works were amalgamated by GEC[5].

1917 GEC was part owner of the Osram-Robertson Lamp Works Ltd and had managed the Works since opening. Purchased further shares in Osram-Robertson Lamp Works Ltd [6].

1919 GEC took over Osram, including the Osram-Robertson Lamp Works[7].
