1916 Obituary [1]

ROBERT NORRIE JERVIS, B.Sc., born at Stobo, Peebles, on the 1st December, 1888, was killed in action in France on the 5th January, 1916.

On completing his training he joined the staff of the Edinburgh and District Water Trust, and after 2 years’ service became contractor’s engineer on a reinforced-concrete pier at Rosyth, relinquishing this appointment in 1915 to accept a commission in the Army.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 1st December, 1914.
