Rizla Cigarette Papers, Rizla House, Beresford Avenue, Wembley, Middlesex.

The Rizla brand was established in France by the Lacroix company.

1937 Factory built at Wembley

WW2 Took over General Paper and Box Co at Pontypridd

1969 Wembley site closed and production concentrated on Pontypridd

1974 HQ at Pontypridd

1983 Rizla Limited, Severn Road, Treforest Estate, Pontypridd.[1]

1997 Brand sold to the Imperial Tobacco Co.

2002 Imperial Tobacco closed Rizla's factory at Mazères-sur-Salat (France).

2005 Imperial Tobacco announced the closure of Rizla's Treforest factory, with a loss of 134 jobs. Rizla production is now concentrated at Wilrijk, Belgium.
