1968 Formed by the merger of A. Reyrolle and Co and C. A. Parsons and Co. Reyrolle Parsons would be a holding company - the Parsons and Reyrolle subsidiaries would continue to trade under their own names as these were well known in the industry[1].

1969 Reyrolle Parsons acquired Bruce Peebles and Co

1974 Mr. J. B. Woodeson was appointed as deputy chairman and chairman designate of the board.[2]

1977 Reyrolle Parsons merged with Clarke Chapman-John Thompson, forming Northern Engineering Industries (NEI)
