Repton Foundry
1934 Repton Foundry Ltd was removed from the register of companies[1]
1942 Repton Foundry Limited, William Wallace Lawley (executor of William Lawley deceased and, with Annie Lawley, a Member of the Company) and Anthony Aston petitioned the High Court. They undertook to change the name of the Company and voluntarily wind it up, so the High Court ordered the restoration of the company's name to the Register of companies and that the company continue in existence as though it had never been struck off[2]
1960 Acquired Lane and Girvan
1966 Repton Foundry, (Bingley) Ltd., Phoenix Foundry, Bingley, Yorkshire applied for a licence to abstract water from The Sandstone Series at Bingley[3]
1968 Repton Foundry purchased A. W. Sutton, drop forgers of Wolverhampton[4]
1968 Repton Foundry, owned by Mr E. Marsland and family, was acquired by Midland Industries[5] in a reverse take-over. The company was one of the 4 largest suppliers of heavy-duty castings to the motor and tractor trades[6]
1973 Repton Foundry Ltd., of Pottery Road, Smethwick, Warley, Worcs, applied for permission to increase its water extraction from the Birmingham Canal at Smethwick[7]
1974 Repton Foundry (Tipton) Ltd of Britannia Street, Tividale, Warley, applied for permission to extract water from the Wolverhampton Level of the Birmingham Canal Navigation[8]
1974 Repton Foundry (Scotland) Ltd registered changes in its directors[9]
1975 Repton Foundry (Scotland) Limited changed its name to RMI (Scotland) Limited[10]
