We record with regret the death on September 27th, of Mr. R. Henderson, who was an engineer in the traction department of British Insulated Callender's Construction Company, Ltd., at Kirkby.

Mr. Henderson joined the contracts department of the former British Insulated Cables Ltd., in 1920, and was subsequently associated with many overhead line contracts in this country and abroad.

In 1928 he was engaged on transmission line erection for the Perak hydro-electric scheme in Malaya, and in 1935 he supervised the railway electrification work being undertaken for the Central Railways of Brazil.
