1891 Makers of spooling and winding machinery for the cotton industry.[1]
1917 Advert for transverse conical drum cone winder and doubling frames.[2]
1924 An interesting event occurred at the works of R. Broadbent and Son, Stalybridge on Friday, September 19th when the directors presented to Mr. Joseph Broadbent; a member of the board and manager, with a silver tea service and a gold watch, to mark the completion by him of fifty years' service with the company. The opportunity was also taken of presenting a gold watch to each of four men who have served over forty years with the firm, Every employee also was given an additional full week's wage. [3]
1926 At the Dunedin. New Zealand Exhibition that closed April 30th, their stone crushing machinery, consisting of one or their jaw type stonebreakers and one set of their patented crushing rolls, both in operation, electrically driven achieved the highest award - " First Award of Merit --Gold Medal."[4]
1936 Winding machinery for the textile industry.[5]
