1917 Company formed to take over and develop Parker Producer Patents[1]
1921 Public company incorporated to make portable producer gas plants which could be fitted to vehicles[2]. Demonstrated two 3-ton lorries driven by producer gas plants on board the vehicles; the gas plant had been invented by Mr J W Parker and designed by Mr H W Bamber. The lorries were fuelled by coke which meant that running costs were much less than for petrol vehicles[3]
