1843 March. Sale of stock of Harp Alley. 'MESSRS. GIBBS and SONS have received instructions from Mr. Peter Jackson, of Harp-alley, (who is declining that branch,) to Sell by Auction, without reserve and free from duty, the whole of the above extensive and valuable STOCK, in his warehouses, Shoe-lane, Fleet-street, London, THIS DAY, March 30, and following day, Eleven o’clock; amongst which will be found about tons of valuable crane, cable, and other chains, 130 strong timber jacks, 1,900 smith's, farrier's, carpenter's and other tools; 1,400 shovels, picks, and axes; 45 bedsteads, 4 large cranes, 43 pairs of large scales and beams, 60 lengths of leather hose for engines, 180 plates and iron backs, 32 anvils, 12 iron doors, 40 valuable screw plates, with taps; 16 vices, 6 iron chests, 3,000 bayonets, 68 lots of iron and steel, and bags of nails; with almost endless variety of iron and other utensils and implements, in about 700 lots. 1845 August 5th. Sale of stock - Part 1. 'First Portion of the extensive Stock of Mr. Peter Jackson, Deceased, Shoe-lane, and Harp-alley. BOOTH and SON will Sell by Auction, on Tuesday. August 5, at 11, on the Premises, as above, by direction the Executors, comprising IRON CRANES and JIBS, doors and frames, tavern and other ranges and ovens, stoves, furnace-doors, chains, scales and beams, timber jacks, military saddles, cart breechings. horse-collars, chain-traces, accoutrements, tents, leather-hose, and great variety miscellaneous effects. May be viewed the day prior and morning of sale, Catalogues on the Premises; and Booth and Son, Auctioneers, 7, Ironmonger-lane, Cheapside.'

August 14, at 11, on the premises as above, by direction of the Executors Mr. Peter Jackson, deceased, comprising CRANES and JIBS, booksafes and chests, doors and frames, peal eight bells (by Mears) with framework complete, chains, scales, and beams, timber, jacks, sheeves and blocks. Paintings and Effects of Mr. Peter Jackson, deceased, removed from Shoe-lane and Harp-alley to the George Hall. Aldermanbury BOOTH and SON will Sell by Auction, on Wednesday. Aug. 20. and following day, 12 at the George Hall, above, by direction of the Executors. FURNITURE, including 10 wardrobes, 20 chests of drawers, telescope dining-tables, rosewood loo and occasional ditto, sideboard, cheffoniers, tea-poys writing tables and desks, mahogany chairs and couches, marble-top wash stands, tables, hall-lamps, model of the Royal George 20 fine original marine and other paintings, and a great variety of miscellaneous effects. 1845 September 25th. Sale of premises. 'Printers, Coppersmiths, Upholsterers, and Others.— Mr. Peter Jackson's Business Premises, Shoe-lane and Harp-alley. BOOTH and SON will Sell Auction, on Thursday. Sept. 25, at 12, the Premises, as above, direction of the Executors, the LEASE of a capital 3-floor WAREHOUSE, with Shop and Dwelling-house in Harp-alley; also extensive Ground-floor Warehouse with loft over. Shop and Dwelling-house, situate and being 13 and 100, Shoe-lane, Fleet-street, held on lease for nine years unexpired, at low rents. May be viewed until the sale, Particulars on Premises; of E. N. 1845 October 19th. Lambeth sale. 'Lambeth - Furniture, Pianoforte, and Effects of the late Mr. Peter Jackson, of Shoe-lane, order of the Executors. BOOTH and SON Sell by Auction, on Friday, Oct. 19. at 12, the premises, 25, Westminster-road, by order of the Executors of the late Mr. Peter Jackson of Shoe lane, FURNITURE, comprising mahogany wardrobe, chests of drawers, 4 post and other bedsteads, good bedding, Brussels carpets, set of mahogany chairs, couch, cheffomer, 8-day bracket clock, set of dining tables, whatnot, 3 chimney glasses, china, glass, 6-octave pianoforte in mahogany case, by Dale, and effects.'

1856 Legal dispute Jackson vs. Pegg. 'PURSUANT to a Decree of the High Court of Chancery, made in a cause JACKSON against PEGG, the CREDITORS of PETER JACKSON, late of Shoe-lane, in the City of a London, broker (who died to or about the month of June, 1845), are by their solicitors, on or before the 23rd day of January, 1857, to come in and prove their debts at the chambers of the Master of the Rolls...'
