PERCY GILBERT SCOTT, born on the 17th August, 1870, died in London on the 31st October, 1911.

Educated and trained in India, he subsequently passed into the Public Works Department.

He was occupied chiefly on railway and bridge construction until 1898, when he served 2 years on the Gold Coast railway surveys, afterwards passing into the Public Works service of Burma, in which he was engaged up to within a short period of his death.

Mr. Scott was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 7th December, 1909.
