PS Thames
formerly PS Argyle
1815 The Argyle was purchased by George Dodd on the Clyde. In May Dodd started for London in her; his journey was via Dublin, then Wexford and Milford Haven, Plymouth and Portsmouth before reaching Limehouse on June 12th. She was re-named Thames. She was then placed on the run between London and Margate where she did good service for some years before being outclassed by the PS Regent in 1818[1]
