Previously the Caradon business[1]

2000 Caradon sold some of its subsidiaries in order to concentrate on its "intelligent building systems division". The name of the company would be changed to Novar, the name of the North American systems division[2]. One of the ongoing subsidiaries was Indalex, the North American business involved in aluminium extrusions[3]

2004 Acquired by Honeywell International[4]
