Furniture maker of Downley, High Wycombe

1919 Established to make wooden electrical fittings

Later made reproduction furniture especially for export.

1950 Limited company status

Made plastic furniture.

1958 Also made modern foam rubber and vinyl chairs.

1967 'A new range of furniture by the Danish designer Dianna Ditzel for Mines and West of High Wycombe. The chair is made of moulded polyether foam covered by a man-made and wool fabric. The platforms in ash or rosewood'[1]

1968 Bought by Ryman.

1979 Moved to Tannery Road.

1995 Went into receivership
