1960 Acquired Ideal Capsules Ltd[3], P. A. Permuta (Plastics), Permuta Closures and 75 percent of Martin Supply Co (Westcliffe)[4]
1977 Subsidiary companies included:
- Metal Closures (Huddersfield) Ltd., Tandem Industrial Estate, Waterloo, Huddersfield.
- Metal Closures (Port Talbot) Ltd., Henshaw Street, Port Talbot.
- Metal Closures Extensions Ltd., Barnet Road, London Colney.
- Metal Closures Extrusions Ltd., Deal Street, Bury.
- Metal Closures Ltd., Bromford Lane, West Bromwich and Henshaw Street, Port Talbot, West Glamorgan.
- Metal Closures Thermoplastics Ltd.
1989 Metal Closures Ltd was renamed MCG Closures Ltd
1990 Suter owned 29.9 percent and were the first to accept the offer from Wassall[5] when they acquired Metal Closures.
