Melbray

From Graces Guide

1933 Private company incorporated to take over the business of the West Central Wholesale Supply Co. The company, general bakers and confectioners, was a wholly-owned subsidiary of John Jacks Ltd, caterers, cafe proprietors and confectioners. Melbray operated a central bakery in Hurlingham Road, Fulham, London SW6 from which it supplied the shops of John Jacks Ltd[1]

1946 John Jacks was incorporated as a public company

1955 Under a scheme of reorganisation, John Jacks Ltd changed its name to Melbray Group which would be a holding company[2]
