Marshall and Co (Engineers)

From Graces Guide
1888.

1888 Mr Marshall exhibited a triple expansion semi-portable steam engine at the Nottingham Show, the first of its type made.[1]

Although the caption says the makers were Marshall and Co of Keighley, this firm seems to have closed in 1886 so it must be questioned whether this was in fact a reference to Marshall, Sons and Co of Gainsborough who were certainly exhibiting at the Nottingham Show?
