Lough Swilly Railway Co

From Graces Guide

A light railway in Ireland. Presumably the same as Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway

Part of the line was built in the c.1870s on the broad gauges but was afterwards altered to the 3ft. gauge.

Two extension lines, one Carndonagh and the other to Burtonport, were built under Balfour's 1889 and 1896 Acts. By 1906 these extensions carried 3 trains per day.
