Succeeded Henry Duncan McLaren, 2nd Baron Aberconway.

1963 Chairman of Sheepbridge Engineering. Lord Aberconway joined the board of Sheepbridge Engineering in 1949 and was appointed Chairman in September, 1957. He was president of the Royal Horticultural Society.[1]
