1793 Partnership dissolved. 'Haigh Iron Works. Notice is hereby given, that the Copartnership in the Iron Works, erected on the Estate of the Earl of Balcarras at Haigh in the County of Lancaster, heretofore carried on by the Honorable Robert Lindsay, James Corbett, and the said Earl, under the Firm of Lindsay, Corbett and Co. and which, since the Death of the said James Corbett, hath been carried on by the said Robert Lindsay and Alice Corbett, and the said Earl, under the Firm of Lindsay and Co. hath this Day, by mutual Consent of the Copartners, been dissolved ; and that all Persons, who have any Demands upon the said Copartners, are to fend in an Account thereof to Mr. Halliburton, Manager of the said Works, at Haigh...'[1]
