1893 Dissolution of the Partnership between Charles William Kayser, Joseph Bramhall Ellison, and Simeon Hayes, in the businesses of Manufacturers and Merchants, at Carlisle Works, in the city of Sheffield, and elsewhere, under the firm names of Kayser, Ellison, and Co., and Wilson, Hawksworth, Ellison, and Co.. Charles William Kayser carried on the said businesses on his own account, under the names of Kayser, Ellison, and Co., and Wilson, Hawksworth, Ellison, and Co.[1]
1895 Public company. The company was registered on 24 October, to acquire the steel works of the firm of the same name. [2] [3] [4]
1898 Another business was acquired.

The firm became Sanderson Kayser in 1960 when it merged with Sanderson Brothers and Newbould
