1903 Married Mary Emily Fisher, in Arrow, Warwickshire[2]

1911 Bank manager, living in Kings Norton, with Mary Emily Brockhouse 30, Constance Mary Brockhouse 6, Margaret Alice Brockhouse 4, Elsie Kathleen Brockhouse 1, John Leslie Brockhouse 2.75 months[3]

c.1920 Presumably joined J. Brockhouse and Co after the deaths of his brothers Henry and Frederick

1922 Became managing director in succession to his father

1934 of Hagley Road, Birmingham, a director of J. Brockhouse and Co and Aga Heat Ltd[4]

John Thomas Brockhouse was born in 1879, and educated at West Bromwich Grammar School.

In 1893 he entered the firm of J. Brockhouse, Ltd., and after a period spent in the workshops became Works Manager of the Company. He was subsequently Managing Director and Chairman, and carried through a programme of progressive reorganization and expansion.

He died on 10th April, 1944, at the age of 65. He was elected a Member in 1942.
