1846 July 7th. Born at Perth, Scotland, the son of John Rutherford, a Farmer of Cromwell Park, Perthshire, and his wife Amelia Milne

1884 August 16th. Married at Cheltenham to Margaret Bethune Robertson Rutherford[1]

1891 Traffic Manager for the East Indian Railway

1896 April 3rd. Died at Calcutta from cholera.[2]
