1912 Obituary [1]

JOHN McNEE, born on the 25th September 1879, died at Manaos, Brazil, on the 2nd February, 1912.

Educated at Edinburgh, he was trained under Messrs. Belfrage and Carfrae, of that city. Later, he was employed by Messrs. J. and A. Leslie and Reid in connection with the Irvine, Bangour, Talla, and other waterworks, and by the Lanark County Council.

At his death, he held the post of Resident Engineer to the Manaos Improvements Company, Limited.

He was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 1st December, 1908.
