1851 Living at Forton Bank, Garstang, Lancs: John Allen (age 46 born Bugsworth, Derbyshire), Railway Contractor. With his wife Frances Allen (age 48 born Kettlesholme, Cheshire) and their two children Christopher Allen (age 8 born Ellel, Lancashire) and Frances Allen (age 10 born Cleverly, Lancs.). Two servants. [1]

1851 September 30th. Died at Lancaster age 46 years.[2][3]
