John Adsley Oriel Addis (1882-1942)

John Adsley Oriel Addis was born in 1882 and apprenticed to engineering.
In 1907 he joined the London General Omnibus Co. and later became Transport Manager to The Sopwith Aviation Company.
In 1926 he went to New Zealand and held various positions in the motor trade there until the time of his death on 25th March, 1942. He was 60.
He was elected an Associate Member in 1920.
