1862 Jeffrey and Co (Islington) produced the first of William Morris's wallpapers.

1899 Working arrangement arranged with the Wall Paper Manufacturers Ltd

During the first quarter of the 20th Century, A. Sanderson and Sons expanded by taking over several prestigious, long established wallpaper and paint companies including Jeffrey and Co (Islington) who had printed designs by Walter Crane, Owen Jones, Heywood Sumner, William Morris and other famous nineteenth century designers.
