1896 Obituary [1]

JAMES TAIT died at his residence, Garmond-Sway, near Coxhoe, on June 11, 1896, aged fifty-three. He was manager of Raisby Hill Limestofie Quarries, a position he had held for upwards of twenty years.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1879.
